Founder + Director
Ivan Bannon founded Dezine ID following more than 20 years of professional design experience across Australia. His career spans residential, commercial, civic and education, heritage and major industrial projects, developing a broad yet focused understanding of design, context and project delivery.
He has worked with private clients, government agencies, educational and community institutions, commercial organisations and industry. This breadth of work has developed a strong understanding of how considered design must respond to people, place and purpose, while navigating the technical and practical requirements of delivering complex projects.
Alongside professional practice, Ivan has maintained a strong connection with design education, teaching undergraduate and Master’s students at Curtin University and serving as a Studio Coordinator at the University of Western Australia. This relationship between practice and education continues to inform his approach through critical thinking, research, collaboration and the exchange of ideas.
This combination of professional practice and design education underpins Dezine ID today, bringing experience, considered design thinking and technical rigour to every project.
